Try these quick and delicious open-faced shrimp bites made with Pillsbury™ Crescent Rolls for a seafood appetizer in under 45 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 Count)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1/3 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup apricot preserves
  • 24 shelled deveined cooked medium shrimp
  • 24 sprigs fresh cilantro
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Unroll dough into a long rectangle and press perforations to seal. Using a small strainer, evenly sprinkle dough with curry powder and coconut.
  • Roll up the dough starting from one long side in a jelly-roll fashion. Use a serrated knife to cut the roll into 24 slices. Place the slices cut side down on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 375°F until golden brown, about 13 to 15 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and place on wire rack. Let cool for at least 10 minutes until completely cooled.
  • To plate, add a touch of 1/2 teaspoon apricot preserves and 1 shrimp on each appetizer. Finish by delicately garnishing each with a sprig of cilantro.
