Delicious Shrimp Rangoon: Shrimp and cream cheese seasoned with garlic & onion, fried in crispy wonton wrappers. Perfect appetizer!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil for frying
  • 0.25 pound cooked shrimp, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons minced white onion
  • 12 (7 inch square) wonton wrappers
Instructions:
  • Preheat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine cream cheese, shrimp, onion, garlic powder, and pepper in a bowl. Spoon mixture onto each wonton. Moisten wonton edges with water, fold over filling, and press to seal.
  • Deep-fry wontons until beautifully golden, approximately 3 minutes.
