Apricot-glazed meatloaf: A delicious twist on a classic dish, perfect for any meal!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 tablespoons apricot preserves
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1.5 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 0.5 cup apricot preserves
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (such as Frank's Red Hot ®)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • For the delicious meatloaf, thoroughly mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, garlic, apricot preserves, kosher salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Then, transfer the mixture to a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Allow the dish to bake in the oven set at the specified temperature for 45 minutes.
  • Prepare the glaze by combining ketchup, apricot preserves, brown sugar, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and cider vinegar in a medium bowl.
  • 1. Take out the meatloaf from the oven and generously drizzle the glaze on top. Bake for an additional 15 minutes until fully cooked through to an internal temperature of at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
  • Allow to rest for 5 minutes before enjoying.
