Elevate your Thanksgiving spread with homemade tangy cranberry sauce that's easy to prepare ahead. Perfect for adding a pop of flavor to leftovers year-round!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh or frozen cranberries (4 cups)
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
Instructions:
  • Wash cranberries under cool water and discard any stems or blemished berries.
  • In a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, bring water and sugar to a boil, stirring occasionally. Let it boil for 5 minutes more, still stirring occasionally.
  • Add cranberries to the mixture. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Boil for about 5 minutes until cranberries start to pop. Transfer the sauce to a bowl or container and refrigerate for about 3 hours until chilled.
