Create a decadent pork and silverbeet lasagne with creamy carbonara sauce - a family favorite pasta dish.
Ingredients:
  • 500g Pork 3 Star Mince
  • 500g jar tomato pasta sauce
  • 1 bunch silverbeet, leaves only, shredded
  • 375g pkt fresh lasagne sheets
  • 490g jar carbonara pasta sauce
  • 100g pizza cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C and heat a large greased ovenproof frying pan over high heat. Cook the pork, breaking up any lumps with a wooden spoon, for 5 minutes or until it changes color. Reduce the heat to medium.
  • Pour in the rich tomato pasta sauce and simmer until slightly thickened, around 5 minutes. Add the fresh silverbeet and stir until wilted, for 1-2 minutes.
  • Spoon two-thirds of the mixture into a heatproof bowl. Use the back of a spoon to smooth the surface of the remaining mixture. Arrange one-third of the lasagne sheets on top, cutting to fit. Pour one-third of the carbonara sauce over the sheets. Repeat the layering process with the rest of the mixture, lasagne sheets, and carbonara sauce. Finish by sprinkling cheese on top.
  • Bake until golden brown and heated through, about 30 minutes. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
