Whip up a flavorful homemade teriyaki sauce for a delicious Japanese twist on meats, stir-fries, rice dishes, and more! Great for dipping chicken wings or dumplings too.

  • 5 teaspoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey, or more to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 0.25 cup cold water
Instructions:
  • Prepare all ingredients.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together 1 cup water, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, ginger, and garlic powder. Heat for about 1 minute until almost warmed through.
