Cheesy broccoli beef stir-fry with teriyaki sauce - a delicious and simple meal!
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb boneless beef round steak, 1 inch thick, cut into thin strips
  • 1 jar (4.5 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 bag (24 oz) Value Size frozen broccoli & three cheese sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sliced green onions
  • Hot cooked rice, if desired
Instructions:
  • Combine beef, mushrooms, cornstarch, garlic, and teriyaki sauce in a large bowl. Allow the mixture to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain the beef and mushrooms thoroughly, saving the marinade. Prepare the frozen broccoli according to package instructions.
  • Begin by heating oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté beef, mushrooms, and green onions for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until beef is cooked through. Add cooked broccoli and mix well.
  • Slowly pour in the reserved marinade while stirring continuously. Cook over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture thickens. Serve over rice.
