Transform simple cookie mix into delightful treats.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
  • 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Drinking straw
  • 1 1/4 cups from 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, flour, oil, water, and egg in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms.
  • Roll dough on floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness. Use a ghost-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes. Pinch one end of a straw to make an oval shape, then use it to cut out eyes in the ghost cookies. Arrange cookies 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are light golden brown. Allow to cool for 2 minutes, then transfer from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • Microwave the frosting in a small bowl on High for 15 seconds until smooth. Frost the cookies and quickly use a toothpick to remove any excess frosting from the eye area before it sets.
