Skinny Decadent Hot Chocolate

Indulge guilt-free in a low-cal, low-fat, high-calcium hot chocolate on chilly days.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 2 1/2 cups fat-free (skim) milk
  • 1/2 cup fat-free half-and-half
  • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips (1 1/2 oz)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, combine sugar and cocoa, then whisk in milk and half-and-half until smooth. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until hot but not boiling. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in chocolate chips using a whisk until melted and mixture is smooth. Add vanilla. Pour hot chocolate into 4 cups to serve.
