Delicious slow cooker pork with sauerkraut, beer, onion, and sugar for a flavor-packed meal with minimal effort.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (2 pound) boneless pork loin roast
  • 1 (32 ounce) jar sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
  • 0.5 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle light beer
  • 0.25 cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon butter, or more to taste, cut into small pieces
Instructions:
  • Grease the crock of a five-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
  • Season the roast generously with salt and pepper and place it in the slow cooker.
  • Layer the sauerkraut around the roast, then generously pour beer over it. Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar, add onion slices, dot with butter, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Slow cook on low heat for 8 hours.
