Transport yourself to Hawaii with this easy and delicious sweet tomato, sake, and soy sauce-infused slow-cooked shoyu pork shoulder roast.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (4 pound) pork butt roast
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup sake
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
Instructions:
  • Place the pork roast in the slow cooker. Combine tomato sauce, sugar, soy sauce, sake, and garlic in a bowl until sugar dissolves. Pour over the pork roast. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours.
