Effortlessly make this cozy slow-cooker cake, perfect with a scoop of ice cream for a comforting dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups sliced apples (4 medium)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • Whipped cream, as desired
Instructions:
  • Coat slow cooker with a luscious layer of butter or cooking spray.
  • Combine sliced apples, cranberries, vanilla, brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon in the slow cooker. Toss gently to mix. In a separate bowl, combine the dry cake mix with the remaining 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the fruit. Finish by drizzling melted butter over the top.
  • Cook on High heat setting for around 3 hours or until the fruit is bubbling at the edges. Serve warm or at room temperature with whipped cream.
