Delicious baked apples with a pie-like twist, no crust needed!
Ingredients:
  • 4 large cooking apples
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup cranberry-apple drink
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Chopped nuts, if desired
Instructions:
  • Core the apples, then generously stuff the centers with a delicious mix of brown sugar and cranberries. Arrange the apples in a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Combine cranberry-apple drink and butter, then generously pour over the apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg for a flavorful finish.
  • Cover and simmer on Low heat for 4 to 6 hours.
  • Serve by gently layering the apples into dessert dishes, generously drizzle the sauce over them, and finish with a sprinkle of nuts for added crunch.
