Slow-Cooker Chicken, Sausage and Cabbage Stew

Savor a delicious chicken and sausage stew with veggies - a rich and comforting meal slow-cooked to perfection!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped (1-inch pieces) cabbage
  • 1 cup ready-to-eat baby-cut carrots, cut lengthwise into quarters
  • 1 cup uncooked wild rice
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 package (8 oz) sliced mushrooms (3 cups)
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 lb sweet Italian sausage links (about 2), cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 cans (14 oz each) chicken broth
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
Instructions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a 4- to 5-quart slow cooker, excluding the broth and soup.
  • Combine the broth and soup in a medium bowl, then pour the mixture over the meat and vegetables in the slow cooker. Gently stir until everything is blended.
  • Cover and let it simmer on low heat for 6 to 8 hours.
