Make an elegant dessert with just 4 ingredients in your slow cooker - no fondue pot needed!
Ingredients:
  • 1 bar (8 oz) dark baking chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon liqueur (coffee-flavored, amaretto or Irish cream)
  • Assorted fresh fruit, marshmallows or cookies
Instructions:
  • 1. Start by gently pouring 2 cups of water into your 6-quart slow cooker. Next, evenly divide the chocolate, cream, butter, and liqueur into 2 ungreased 1-cup ramekins. Finally, place the ramekins in the slow cooker.
  • Cover and gently simmer on low heat for 45 to 60 minutes until the chocolate and butter have melted completely.
  • Take out the ramekins from the slow cooker and give the fondue a good stir. Serve with a side of fresh fruit.
