Indulgent Slow-Cooker Chocolate Lava Cake made with Betty Crocker™ cake mix, pudding, and chocolate chips. Set it and forget it for a rich and impressive dessert in just 3 1/2 hours.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 box (4-serving size) chocolate instant pudding and pie filling mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 bag (11.5 oz) milk chocolate chips (2 cups)
Instructions:
  • Prepare the slow cooker by spraying it with cooking spray. Mix Cake ingredients in a large bowl using an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally. Transfer the mixture into the slow cooker.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together pudding mix and 2 cups of cold milk for about 2 minutes until thick. Pour the mixture over the cake batter in the slow cooker without stirring. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Enjoy!
  • Line the slow cooker with a folded, clean dish towel, then cover. Cook on Low heat for 3 to 3.5 hours until the cake is set around the edges but still soft in the center. Remove the cover, transfer the ceramic insert to a cooling rack, and let it stand for 30 minutes. Spoon out the warm cake to serve, and store any leftovers covered in the refrigerator.
