Indulge in flavorful slow-cooked cheesy cordon bleu chicken and ham rolls, drizzled with creamy sauce for a satisfying dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 5 oz each)
  • 3 thin slices (3/4 oz each) deli ham, cut in half
  • 3 slices (1 oz each) Swiss cheese, cut in half
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon marinade for chicken (white Worcestershire sauce) or regular Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions:
  • Prepare the slow cooker by spraying it with cooking spray. Place each chicken breast between sheets of plastic wrap or waxed paper, smooth side down. Gently pound each breast starting from the center outward until it's about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Lay a half slice of ham and a half slice of cheese on each chicken breast. Roll up the chicken, folding in the sides. Arrange the rolls, seam sides down, in a single layer in the slow cooker. In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and spoon over the chicken.
  • Cover and simmer over low heat for 3 to 4 hours until perfectly tender.
  • Transfer rolls from the cooker to a cutting board. Whisk the sauce in the cooker until smooth. Spoon approximately 1/3 cup of sauce onto each of 6 plates. Slice each roll thinly crosswise and place on top of the sauce on the plates.
