Slow-Cooker Pineapple-Orange Glazed Ham

Try this unique twist on ham with a sweet and tangy marmalade glaze that's quick and simple to make.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3-lb.) boneless cooked ham
  • 1 (8-oz.) can crushed pineapple in unsweetened juice
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons orange marmalade
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
Instructions:
  • Place the ham in a 3 1/2 to 5-quart slow cooker. Drain the liquid from the can of pineapple into the slow cooker, then refrigerate the pineapple. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of marmalade, and mustard until well combined. Spread this mixture over the ham.
  • Cover and cook on the Low setting for 6 to 8 hours to let the flavors develop beautifully.
  • Just before serving, take the ham out of the slow cooker and place it on a cutting board. Cut off 2 cups of cubed ham and refrigerate for Ham and Broccoli Soup as indicated on page 29. Keep the rest of the ham covered to stay warm.
  • Combine pineapple and 2 tablespoons of orange marmalade in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 minutes until heated through, stirring halfway through. Slice ham and serve with pineapple mixture.
