Effortless and sweet: dinner ready after running errands!
Ingredients:
  • 3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 3 turkey thighs, skin removed (1 1/2 pounds)
  • 1 jar (12 ounces) homestyle turkey gravy
  • 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crumbled
  • 1 package (10 ounces) frozen cut green beans
Instructions:
  • In a 4- to 5-quart slow cooker, alternate layers of sweet potatoes and turkey. Whisk together all remaining ingredients, except beans, until smooth. Pour the mixture over the turkey.
  • Cook on high heat setting for 1 hour, then reduce heat to low heat setting and cook for 5 more hours. Stir in beans and cover, continue cooking for 1 to 2 hours until the turkey is no longer pink in the center.
  • Using a slotted spoon, lift out the turkey and vegetables from the slow cooker. Give the sauce a good stir. Serve the sauce alongside the turkey and vegetables. Note: This recipe is ideal for slow cookers with side and bottom heating elements, not for those with only a heated base. Adjust layering and temperature settings for cookers with a heated base following the manufacturer's guidelines.
