Indulge in Small-Batch Malted Milk-Chocolate Chip Cookies - a perfect dozen for satisfying your sweet cravings with a touch of nostalgia.
Ingredients:
  • 2/3 cup Gold Medal™ All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons original-flavor malted milk powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine flour, malted milk powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl, and set it aside.
  • In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to beat the softened butter and sugars until fluffy, about 1 minute. Remember to scrape the sides of the bowl occasionally.
  • Mix together the egg yolk and vanilla until perfectly smooth. Gently incorporate the flour mixture until just blended; the dough will be thick. Fold in the irresistible milk chocolate chips.
  • Spoon 12 rounded tablespoonfuls onto a large ungreased cookie sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned with soft centers. Let cool for 2 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Allow to cool completely for about 30 minutes. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
