Transform roasted broccoli into indulgent smashed broccoli coated in crispy Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 3 crowns broccoli (1 pound) cut into large florets
  • 6 ounces shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper garlic seasoning
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to a high temperature of 400°F (200°C) and prepare a spacious baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Put the broccoli florets in a microwave-safe dish and cook on High for 4 minutes. Then, transfer the broccoli to a cutting board and flatten the florets using a small glass or shot glass.
  • On a baking sheet, evenly layer shredded Parmesan. Place smashed broccoli on top of the cheese, distributing it evenly. Sprinkle with garlic powder and lemon pepper seasoning.
  • Roast in the oven until the Parmesan is crispy and broccoli tips are nicely browned, for around 30 minutes. Serve hot and break up before enjoying.
