Create a delicious smoked gouda and apple grilled cheese sandwich for a flavorful and satisfying lunch option any day.
Ingredients:
  • 8 slices French bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened, or as needed
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced
  • 1 pound smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
Instructions:
  • Preheat a griddle over gentle heat.
  • Spread one side of the bread slices with butter. Place half of the bread, buttered-side down, on the hot griddle. Top each slice with apple slices and shredded Gouda cheese, then cover with the remaining bread slices.
  • Sear until beautifully golden, 3-5 minutes on each side.
