Quick and easy smoked salmon canapes topped with zesty relish; perfect party appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup finely chopped white onion
  • 3 tablespoons drained capers
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 sourdough baguette
  • 6 ounces thinly sliced smoked salmon
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Combine diced onion, tangy capers, fresh dill, zesty lemon juice, and flavorful Dijon mustard in a small bowl to create a delicious relish. Season with a pinch of salt and a sprinkle of pepper for the perfect finish.
  • Slice the sourdough baguette into 24 thin pieces. Divide the salmon into 24 portions. Spread cream cheese on each bread slice, top with a piece of salmon, and carefully add relish. Arrange on a serving dish.
