Easy and delicious smoked salmon pate.
Ingredients:
  • 200g pkt smoked salmon, flaked
  • 125g mascarpone
  • 85g mayonnaise
  • 2 green onions, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 20.00 ml finely chopped dill
  • 21.00 gm lemon juice
  • 2 tsp horseradish cream
  • 2.95 gm Dijon mustard
Instructions:
  • In a food processor, blend the salmon until nearly smooth. Transfer to a bowl and combine with mascarpone, mayonnaise, green onion, dill, lemon juice, horseradish, and mustard. Gently mix until well blended. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Divide the salmon mixture evenly between two 1-cup (250ml) ramekins or serving bowls, smooth the top, cover with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for 3 hours to set and enhance the flavors.
  • Garnish the dish with a fresh dill sprig, and optionally serve with melba toast and cornichons.
