Smoked Sausage Stackers with Honey Mustard Sauce

Sweet and tangy roasted Brussels sprouts with smoked sausage and shallots for a delicious, flavorful dish.
Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces Hillshire Farm® Rope Smoked Sausage, cut into 1" coins
  • 8 ounces Brussels sprouts, halved lengthwise
  • 8 small shallots, peeled and halved lengthwise
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup coarse-grained mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 450°F.
  • Thread sausage, Brussels sprouts, and shallots onto 4-inch skewers, coat with oil, and place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven until vegetables are tender, about 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Preheat the broiler until nice and hot, then broil for 2 to 3 minutes until beautifully caramelized.
  • Combine honey, mustard, vinegar, and pepper in a bowl. Coat skewers with 1/3 of the mixture. Broil for 1 minute. Serve with the rest of the sauce.
