Tangy cranberry and zesty BBQ sauce coat crispy chicken wings for a mouthwatering snack.
Ingredients:
  • 2 lb chicken wings
  • 1 can (16 oz) jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup mesquite smoke marinade or hickory smoke barbecue sauce
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
Instructions:
  • Cut each chicken wing into 3 pieces by separating them at the joints and discard the tips of the wings along with any excess skin.
  • Combine all the remaining ingredients in a large bowl, then add the chicken and mix until well coated. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F and line a 15x10x1-inch pan with foil or parchment paper, then lightly spray with cooking spray. Take the chicken out of the marinade, keeping the marinade aside, and place the chicken in the pan.
  • Cook the chicken for 50 to 60 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked. In a 1-quart saucepan, bring the marinade to a boil over medium-high heat, then simmer on medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly thickened. Brush the chicken with the sauce halfway through baking.
