Spicy garlic paprika marinated shrimp skewers grilled to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pound of large shrimp, cleaned and peeled, tails on
  • Bamboo skewers
Instructions:
  • Prepare the skewers by submerging them in water for a minimum of 30 minutes prior to grilling.
  • Prepare the shrimp marinade by whisking together paprikas, cumin, garlic, salt, pepper, lime juice, and olive oil in a large bowl. Add the shrimp and ensure they are well coated. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour before cooking.
  • Grill the shrimp: Get the grill ready over medium-high direct heat or heat a grill pan. Skewer the shrimp with two skewers to ease flipping. Grease the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking. Grill the shrimp for 2 to 4 minutes per side until cooked. Serve the shrimp immediately.
