Indulgent Snickers and salted peanut chocolate slice.
Ingredients:
  • 3 x 50g Snickers bars, coarsely chopped
  • 2 x 53g Mars bars, coarsely chopped
  • 26.80 gm golden syrup
  • 105g rice bubbles
  • 70g peanuts
  • 100g dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 100g white chocolate, coarsely chopped
Instructions:
  • Place a sheet of parchment paper in a 19cm x 29cm slice pan, ensuring it covers the base and extends over the 2 longer sides.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the Snickers bar, Mars bar, butter, and golden syrup. Stir and cook for 5 minutes until the bars are melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the rice bubbles and peanuts. Pour the Snickers mixture over and gently stir until well combined. Transfer the mixture into the lined pan, then use the back of a spoon to press down lightly and smooth the top. Let it cool completely for 1 hour before serving.
  • Melt the dark chocolate and white chocolate in separate bowls over a double boiler. Stir until smooth. Pour the chocolates alternately over the slice and swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect. Let it set for 30 mins before cutting into pieces.
