Delicious, simple Sock it to Me cake made with buttery cake mix in a Bundt pan, topped with a sweet glaze for a stunning finish.
Ingredients:
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package butter yellow cake mix (such as Betty Crocker), divided
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and generously grease a 10-inch Bundt cake pan.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of cake mix, pecans, brown sugar, and cinnamon; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the remaining cake mix, eggs, sour cream, oil, sugar, and water. Beat with an electric mixer on high speed for 2 minutes until smooth and well combined.
  • Spread a generous layer of 2/3 of the batter into the pan. Add a delightful sprinkle of pecan mixture, then evenly spread the remaining batter on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 25 minutes, then carefully invert onto a serving plate and let cool completely.
  • Combine powdered sugar and milk until smooth, then generously drizzle over the cooled cake.
