Ingredients:
  • 700g pork leg steaks
  • 1 15g pkt sesame seeds
  • 27.60 gm vegetable oil
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • 40.80 gm vegetable liquid stock
  • 2 bunches choy sum, stems trimmed, washed, dried
  • 1 100g pkt fried noodles (Chang's brand)
Instructions:
  • Diagonally slice the pork steaks thinly, then place them in a medium bowl. Add soy sauce and toss to coat evenly. Set aside.
  • Heat a wok or large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Toast sesame seeds, stirring, for 1-2 minutes until golden. Transfer to a small bowl and set aside.
  • 1. Heat oil in a wok or frying pan over high heat. Stir-fry garlic until aromatic, about 15 seconds. Cook half of the pork until browned, about 1-2 minutes. Transfer to a plate, cover with foil to keep warm, then repeat with the remaining pork.
  • Combine the honey and vegetable stock in a wok or frying pan, bringing it to a boil over high heat. Let it boil for about 2 minutes until slightly reduced.
  • Cut the choy sum into 8cm lengths and add to the hot wok or frying pan. Cook over high heat, uncovered, tossing for 1-2 minutes until just wilted. Add back the pork and sesame seeds with the noodles and toss everything together. Serve hot right away.
