Mezcal adds a smoky twist to the classic negroni cocktail with sparkling white wine.
Ingredients:
- 0.5 cup ice cubes, or as needed
- 1 fluid ounce mezcal
- 1 fluid ounce Campari
- 1 fluid ounce sweet vermouth
- 0.5 fluid ounce sparkling wine
- orange twist for garnish
Instructions:
- Place a generous amount of ice in a cocktail shaker. Combine mezcal, Campari, and sweet vermouth in the shaker and shake vigorously. Strain the mixture into a champagne glass, then carefully pour sparkling wine on top. Finish by garnishing with an orange twist.
