Savory beef and tomato spaghetti cooked to perfection, a crowd-pleasing dinner favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 pinch dried basil
  • 4 ounces uncooked spaghetti
Instructions:
  • Sauté ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked; drain any excess fat.
  • Combine tomato sauce, water, salt, parsley, pepper, and basil in a pot, stirring well. Bring the sauce to a boil. Break spaghetti in half and gradually add it to the simmering sauce. Cover and reduce heat to low.
  • Simmer spaghetti for 20-25 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. If needed, add 1/2 to 1 cup of water to prevent dryness until noodles are fully cooked.
