Spiced roasted chats

Whip up these hearty roasted chat potatoes for a perfect side dish or snack!
Ingredients:
  • 1.2kg chat (small coliban) potatoes
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 4.80 gm sea salt flakes
  • 2.50 gm ground cumin
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C. In a large saucepan, cover the potatoes with cold water and bring to a boil over high heat. Let them simmer, covered, for 15 minutes until tender. Drain well.
  • In a roasting pan, generously drizzle half of the oil. Add the potatoes and gently press down on each one with the back of a spoon to slightly flatten them. Drizzle the remaining oil over the potatoes and generously sprinkle with sea salt and cumin.
  • Roast in oven for 20 minutes. Turn potatoes and roast for another 20 minutes until crispy.
  • Transfer the tender, golden potatoes to an impressive serving bowl and enjoy while piping hot.
