"Savor a quick and delicious beef noodle stir-fry salad ready in 20 minutes."
Ingredients:
  • 250g green beans, topped
  • 450g hokkien noodles
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, cut into thin wedges
  • 2.50 gm ground cumin
  • Large pinch of ground chilli
  • 9.20 gm olive oil
  • 4 (about 100g each) beef silverside eye steaks
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • 40.00 ml kecap manis
  • 42.00 gm fresh lime juice
  • Lime wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan of salted boiling water, quickly blanch the beans for 2 minutes. Then add the noodles and cook for 1 more minute until the noodles are tender and the beans are crisp-tender. Refresh the beans and noodles under cold running water, drain, and combine with the tomato in a bowl.
  • Mix cumin, coriander, chili, and oil in a bowl. Coat steaks with the flavorful mixture, then season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Preheat a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness or until cooked to your preference. Place the steaks on a plate, cover with foil, and let them rest for 3 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix the kecap manis and lime juice. Drizzle the noodle salad with the mixture and gently toss to combine. Thinly slice the steaks across the grain. Serve the noodle salad in bowls, topped with sliced beef. Enjoy with lime wedges.
