Irresistible vegetarian snack: Bugles, almonds, pretzels, and caramel candies coated in buttery, sweet, and slightly spicy caramel. A must-try from Betty Crocker Snacks cookbook!
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups Bugles™ original corn snacks
  • 1 cup salted roasted whole almonds
  • 1/3 cup caramel topping
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 2 cups mini pretzel twists
  • 1 cup (about 28 from a 10.6-oz bag) unwrapped chocolate-covered chewy caramels
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 15x10-inch pan by lining it with waxed paper; set it aside for later.
  • Combine corn snacks and almonds in a large microwaveable bowl. In a separate small bowl, combine caramel topping, melted butter, and red pepper. Pour the mixture over the corn snack and almond mixture, then toss everything together to coat evenly.
  • Microwave the uncovered corn snack mixture on High for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every minute until evenly coated and caramelized. Spread the mixture in a pan, ensuring pieces are spread apart. Let it cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix the coated corn snack mixture with the rest of the ingredients.
