Beer-marinated grilled spicy chicken burger with decadent beer cheese sauce.
Ingredients:
  • ½ cup light beer
  • 1 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 4 hamburger buns
Instructions:
  • Combine beer, paprika, chili powder, red pepper flakes, and garlic cloves in a resealable plastic bag. Add chicken, coat well with marinade, remove excess air, seal the bag, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Get your outdoor grill ready by preheating it to a delicious medium-high temperature and giving the grate a light coating of oil.
  • Grill the chicken until it is cooked through, for 10 to 15 minutes on each side. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) using an instant-read thermometer.
  • Prepare the cheese sauce by melting butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour until it turns golden and forms a smooth paste. Add half and half and beer, stirring until the mixture thickens, about 3 to 5 minutes. Mix in the cheese until it melts, about 2 to 3 minutes. Finally, stir in paprika, garlic powder, and ground mustard.
  • Grill hamburger buns until they display grill marks, approximately 2 minutes. Top with preferred toppings, drizzle with cheesy sauce, and serve promptly.
