Mustard-beer marinated baked chicken drumsticks with a kick of garlic and spices for a delicious and easy dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup light beer
  • 0.33333334326744 cup prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 pounds chicken drumsticks
Instructions:
  • In a 1-gallon resealable plastic bag, mix together beer, mustard, garlic, pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Add chicken drumsticks and ensure they are evenly coated. Seal the bag, removing all the air.
  • Allow the chicken to marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours, ideally overnight for enhanced flavor.
  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Transfer the drumsticks and sauce from the plastic bag into a baking dish.
  • Place the drumsticks and marinade in a baking dish, then cover with aluminum foil before baking.
  • Bake chicken in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Check chicken and uncover if desired. Bake until chicken is no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, approximately 15 more minutes. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) when an instant-read thermometer is inserted near the bone.
