Spicy green onion pigs-in-a-blanket with Sriracha dipping sauce for a flavorful twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (12 oz) uncooked Johnsonville® Original breakfast sausage links
  • 1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 green onions, chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 sour cream
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • 14 thin slices pepper Jack cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 250°F.
  • Sear sausage links in a skillet following the package instructions.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, milk, and egg in a large bowl. Mix in chopped green onions and garlic powder until evenly incorporated.
  • Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease if needed. Pour about 2 heaping tablespoons of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until edges are dry and pancake is bubbly, then flip and cook until golden. Repeat with remaining batter, keeping the cooked pancakes warm in the oven.
  • Combine creamy mayonnaise and tangy sour cream with a kick of spicy Sriracha sauce in a bowl. Refrigerate for later use.
  • After cooking the pancakes and sausage, layer each pancake with a slice of cheese, then add a sausage link on top. Roll up the pancake around the sausage and secure with a toothpick. Keep warm and serve with sauce.
