Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 lb pork boneless lean country-style ribs, cut crosswise into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup Progresso™ beef flavored broth (from 32-oz carton)
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Asian five-spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions:
  • Heat oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Cook riblets for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned.
  • Place the riblets in a 2- to 3-quart slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine broth, vinegar, garlic, salt, five-spice powder, and pepper, then pour the mixture over the riblets.
  • Simmer on Low heat for 3 to 4 hours, covered.
  • Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir in jam. Drain riblets and return to the cooker. Add jam mixture and increase heat to High. Cover and cook for 25-30 minutes until sauce thickens and riblets are well coated. Serve with skewers.
