Tender pork chops glazed in a savory peach and white wine sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup peach preserves
  • 1.5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon chile paste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 0.5 cup white wine
Instructions:
  • Combine the peach preserves, Worcestershire sauce, and chile paste in a small bowl, and let the flavors mingle while you prepare the rest of the dish.
  • In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  • Begin by washing the pork chops and gently drying them. Next, season the chops generously with ginger, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Sear the chops in hot oil until they achieve a beautiful golden-brown color on each side, approximately 2 minutes per side. Once done, transfer the chops from the skillet and let them rest for a moment.
  • Pour a generous amount of white wine into the skillet and stir to deglaze, releasing all the flavorful browned bits from the bottom. Mix in the peach preserves mixture and add the chops back to the skillet, making sure to coat them thoroughly with the delicious sauce.
  • Cook the chops on medium-low heat until they are no longer pink in the centers, about 8 minutes on each side. Ensure they reach an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C when checked with an instant-read thermometer.
