Air-fried salmon filets glazed with sweet and spicy peach for a quick and delicious dinner for two. Ready in minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup all fruit, no sugar added peach preserves
  • 0.5 teaspoon Asian chili garlic sauce, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • aluminum foil
  • cooking spray
  • 2 (6 ounce) fillets salmon (1-inch thick)
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 medium green onion, thinly sliced
  • lemon juice (optional)
Instructions:
  • Combine peach preserves, minced garlic, powdered ginger, chili garlic sauce, and lemon juice in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30-35 seconds until boiling. Stir well and let cool.
  • Prepare a foil sling by cutting a piece of foil to cover the bottom and sides of the air fryer basket. Spray it with cooking spray, place it in the basket, and poke holes to allow airflow alignment.
  • Season the salmon fillets with a pinch of salt and pepper on each side, then lay them on the foil sling. Give a light spritz of cooking spray.
  • Air fry the salmon at 390 degrees F (198 degrees C) for 8 minutes. Use an instant read thermometer to check for doneness. Farmed salmon should reach 125 degrees F (51 degrees C) for a "medium" doneness, while wild salmon should reach 120 degrees F (48 degrees C). If necessary, increase air frying time in 3-minute intervals until the salmon reaches your desired level of doneness.
  • Gently remove the salmon filets from the air fryer using the foil sling as handles.
  • After preparing the glaze, generously pour it over the fillets, saving a portion to use as a savory sauce. Finish by sprinkling sesame seeds and green onions on top and drizzling with fresh lemon juice.
