Make Curtis Stone's tasty spicy-sweet nuts to give as a festive party favor!
Ingredients:
  • 28.60 gm honey
  • 27.80 gm molasses
  • 375.00 ml raw cashews
  • 375.00 ml raw pecans
  • 250.00 ml raw whole almonds
  • 40.00 gm plus 2 tsp raw sugar
  • 2 tsp fleur de sel
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 0.30 gm smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp coarsely chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1/2 tsp grated orange rind
Instructions:
  • Turn your oven into a toasty haven at 175°C (150°C).
  • Spread out the cashews, pecans, and almonds evenly on a large baking tray. Roast for 8 minutes, until the nuts are warm.
  • In a large bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of raw sugar with 1 1/2 teaspoons of fleur de sel, cayenne, and paprika, mixing until well blended.
  • Combine the nuts with the sugar-spice mixture in a large bowl. Pour in the honey, molasses, rosemary, and orange, and mix well until coated.
  • Prepare a lined baking tray and spread the nut mixture in a single layer. Sprinkle with remaining raw sugar and fleur de sel. Roast for about 15 minutes until toasted. Allow to cool slightly before separating the nuts or keeping them in clusters.
  • Allow the nuts to cool completely to achieve a perfectly crunchy coating.
