Irresistible sweet and spicy nuts, perfect for parties or snacking anytime!
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2.5 cups whole almonds
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spread almonds on baking sheet and toast until golden brown and fragrant, about 10 minutes. Be sure to keep a close eye on them as they can burn fast.
  • Combine sugar, salt, and cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl and set it aside.
  • Combine water, honey, and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until bubbling. Stir in toasted almonds until coated. Toss almonds with sugar and spices until evenly coated. Spread on baking sheets in a single layer and cool to room temperature.
