Make these simple lolly wands effortlessly- no magic needed!
Ingredients:
  • 215.00 gm caster sugar
  • Chocolate freckles
  • Licorice, cut into small strips
Instructions:
  • Using a food-safe marker, sketch 10cm wide spider web outlines on two sheets of baking paper. Position the paper, ink side down, on large baking trays. Add colorful popsicle sticks at the bottom of each web design.
  • Combine 1 cup caster sugar and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Increase heat to high and boil without stirring for 5-8 minutes until light golden. Remove from heat and let bubbles settle.
  • Drizzle the caramel sauce around the edges of the web and over each pretzel stick, then create decorative patterns by drizzling sauce inside the web. Press a chocolate chip onto each web, then attach licorice strips on each side to make legs. Let it rest until the caramel sets.
