Spinach and Ham French Bread Pizza

Indulge in a quick and tasty Spinach and Ham French Bread Pizza for a satisfying Italian meal in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf (1 lb) French bread
  • 3 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
  • 1 can (8 oz) pizza sauce
  • 1 cup chopped cooked ham
  • 1 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts
  • 2 cups chopped fresh spinach (about 2 oz)
  • 12 slices (1 oz each) provolone cheese, cut in half
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice the loaf of bread in half horizontally, then cut each half into thirds. Arrange the pieces cut side up on a large ungreased cookie sheet and brush with oil. Bake for 5 to 6 minutes until the tops are slightly toasted. Take out of the oven.
  • Evenly spread pizza sauce on the cut sides of the bread. Layer with ham, onion, nuts, and spinach. Place 4 half slices of cheese on each.
  • Bake for 7 to 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the pizza is hot.
