Irresistible Greek side dish topped with tangy Feta cheese and fresh lemon for a heavenly twist.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup olive oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 pounds fresh spinach, rinsed and stemmed
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 0.5 cup uncooked white rice
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook onions in olive oil until soft. Add spinach, then pour in tomato sauce and water. Season with parsley, dill, salt, and pepper. Stir in rice and simmer uncovered on low for 20-25 minutes, adding more water if needed.
