Get in the Halloween spirit with these fun and easy-to-make spooky brownies! Let your kids unleash their creativity by decorating with candies, snacks, sprinkles, and candy eyeballs. Customize your treats to be cute or creepy with included templates for cutting shapes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (17.8 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Triple Chunk Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
  • 3/4 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • Betty Crocker™ Purple Neon Gel Food Color
  • Betty Crocker™ Dessert Decorations Candy Eyeballs, candy bars, candy corn, gummy candy, licorice, M&M’s® Candy-Coated Milk Chocolate Candies, Reese's Pieces Candies, pretzels
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line a 9-inch square pan with foil, leaving some overhang. Grease the foil. Follow the brownie mix instructions for baking. Allow to cool for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Freeze in the pan for 30 minutes before serving.
  • Lift the brownie out of the pan using the foil, and gently peel the foil away. Transfer the brownie to a work surface.
  • While the brownie is cooling, create paper templates. Lay the templates over the brownie as demonstrated in the photo and carefully cut around them. (Keep any leftover brownie scraps for a delicious snack later.)
  • Display brownie pieces neatly on a serving platter or cutting board to match the photo.
  • Mix frosting and food color in a small bowl until you achieve your desired color. Ice the brownie with the frosting. Decorate the brownie house with candies and snacks according to the photo. Cut into pieces and serve. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
