Whip up easy and fun cupcakes with a touch of whimsy.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Creamy White Frosting
  • 1 tube (0.68 oz) Betty Crocker™ black decorating gel
  • 1 cup assorted small candies (tiny jelly beans, candy corn, etc.)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pans).
  • Prepare, bake, and allow the cake to cool following the instructions on the box to yield 24 cupcakes.
  • For each cupcake, generously spoon 1 tablespoon of frosting on top. Use the back of a spoon to shape the frosting into a light bulb design resembling a skeleton head. While the frosting is still wet, embellish with gel and candies to create the skeleton face. Store with a loose cover.
