Layered Cherry Ripe spread in a jar - a beautiful edible gift.
Ingredients:
  • 205ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 200g red glace cherries
  • 75g (1 cup) shredded coconut
  • 200g dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 40.40 gm thickened cream
  • 2 x 52g Cherry Ripe chocolate bars, coarsely chopped
Instructions:
  • Combine 80ml (1/3 cup) of condensed milk, cherries, and coconut in a food processor until smooth.
  • Melt chocolate, butter, and 125ml (1/2 cup) condensed milk in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water, ensuring the bowl does not touch the water. Stir occasionally until smooth. If the mixture splits, incorporate 2 tbsp cream and stir until smooth.
  • Alternate spoonfuls of the chocolate and cherry mixtures in a 500ml (2 cup) or two 250ml (1 cup) heatproof glass jars. Sprinkle with chopped Cherry Ripe, seal tightly, and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
