Elevate stuffing with fresh squash, cheese. Perfect for holidays or cozy summer nights.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups sliced yellow squash
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 (6 ounce) package dry bread stuffing mix
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.5 (8 ounce) package processed cheese food, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.75 cup water
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a medium baking dish.
  • Combine the squash, cream of celery soup, and onion in a medium bowl.
  • Evenly layer 3/4 cup stuffing mix in the baking dish, followed by half of the squash mixture. Season with pepper and sprinkle half of the processed cheese food. Repeat the layers and top with the remaining stuffing mix. Arrange butter slices evenly on top and drizzle water over the dish.
  • Bake covered in a preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until beautifully golden brown.
